white groundsquirrel by HippiUnicorn white groundsquirrel by HippiUnicorn
This is my first taxidermy ground squirrel!

It didn't turn out the way I wanted, but the white fur compensates a lot

I sold the squirrel on Etsy for 40€
Sadly this beautiful rare specimen is now
again for sale on Etsy [link]: for way to much money

And to see all my hours of work like that makes me cry out loud! :(

You didn't do too bad on it to be honest!

I think it's a part albino - some part-albinos are white with normal eyes, some white with blue eyes and some white with faint markings :) Only true albinos have red eyes.

You're welcome! I love watching fellow collectors. I envy your taxidermy skills! I just don't know where to begin myself.

I've done a little skinning, but I'm afraid to try tanning. I don't want to ruin anything.

Well Just try! If it goes wrong, then you learned how not to tan or skin! Then it only can go better
